Top 5 Restaurants In Sarnia
These are my favourite restaurants in Lambton County. When Tyler and I are trying to plan a date night we always struggle with where to go to eat. Here is a list that may help to make your date nights a little easier to plan, when we all get the go ahead to go out to eat.
Lola’s 110 Christian St Sarnia
This restaurant it truly one of a kind, the atmosphere and food can not be matched anywhere in our community. I do not have a favourite item on this menu, I love everything I have tried thus far and really enjoy trying their specials. If I get to choose a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, chances are I will choose Lola’s.
The best Mexican food in town! The brightest atmosphere in town and great service. What I love most about the tacos is how fresh they taste, every bite bursts with flavour, its like the colours from the walls are having a party in your mouth (I am officially a food blogger after that statement). I also love the variety offered on their menu and that they are trying to offer unique tacos and dishes like vegan tacos. Its especially a great spot on warm days when you can enjoy the open air space in down town Point Edward.
This hometown restaurant in a comfort zone for our family, its easy Thursday or Friday night dinner when you just don’t feel like cooking. I normally order the same thing, the Buffalo Chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and Jack Daniel’s sauce. Tyler loves their burgers and the kids normally get chicken strips and fries.
I love this downtown spot with all high top tables, not great if you have littles with you but fun for a date night. They have some of the best chicken wings and unique chicken wing flavours. My ultimate choice off this menu is the wanton nachos, a classic dish with a majorly delicious twist.
This spot gives me all the comfort food vibes. Its everyday food and coffee done excellently, thats it. The coffee is amazing, the donuts are fresh and my favourite sandwich off this menu is the tuna salad. They really steal my heart with a huge pile of plain salty chips on the side.
