We have so many amazing local businesses and makers here in Sarnia Lambton, it is easy to do a lot of our Christmas shopping in our own backyard. We are sure to find special unique gifts for our loved ones and support our community in a powerful way. Here are some of my favourite local businesses and a little bit about them. A fabulous indie bookstore. I specially love the children’s book section in this store, its cozy and inviting with little stools and I often get lost here reading children’s books trying decide which one’s I will add to our family’s collection.
In 1997, Ann (the owner) returned home to Sarnia. After 20 years as a pediatric nurse, she wanted a new challenge that would allow her to still be around children and their families. She opened a toy store in July, 1998 as a franchise and in May 2003 her own, The Toy Corner.
The Toy Corner focuses on toys that entertain and teach children through play. As well, Ann and her staff consider the needs for each child and help you find what matches each child's development and interests.
The store is divided into departments to make it easy to find exactly what you need.
Our regular store hours are Monday to Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-5.
