Fall Florals
You know what I am excited about, we don’t have to leave our love of floral prints behind us in spring and summer. Florals will continue to bloom in our fashion, well into Fall and Winter, they will be a little different but non the less, lovely and feminine.
I love prints period. I think they are a fun way to show off my personality. Floral prints make me feel feminine and womanly and add so much interest to a dress. The key component to the florals we will see in autumn and beyond, is that they will have darker backgrounds. Both florals pictured in this post are delicate but their deep base colours make them super relevant in the cooler months.
Both of these dresses are wonderful transitional pieces for those in between days in August and September, cool mornings, warm afternoons and cool evenings. They both can be worn with sandals on warm days and boots or booties on cool days topped with a jean jacket.
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shopping at Maurice’s in the Lambton Mall with a Personal Style Event. This is a free service offered by Maurice’s to anyone who would like a little assistance with building their wardrobe. You simply call your local Maurice’s ahead of time and give them your sizes and a brief description of your lifestyle or the situations you need new clothes for. The staff at our Sarnia Maurice’s is amazing, so helpful, stylish and just a joy to shop with. This service is free and no purchase is necessary.
