Growing up in Sarnia, Canada, Kira-Jade never had a plan B. She always knew she wanted to be on stage and always knew she wanted to sing country music. See every diary, “When i grow up” school report or high school yearbook (which read “Future ambition: Country Singer; Role Model: Shania Twain”) for reference. Just like any true blue country artist, she learned to play guitar from her Grampa who lived with her as a little girl. They spent hours playing all of the classics together and he instilled a love for classic country music in her that has lasted to this day. That upbringing gave her a heart for real country music and also ignited a passion for storytelling in her songwriting.
