Let’s Get Up

I am five weeks postpartum and for the last two weeks I have slowly been moving my body with lots of walking and low impact workouts. I have been trying out the new dance program from Beach Body, LETS GET UP and I am loving it! Shaun T the trainer offers so much inspiration and motivation, the workouts are so joy filled the dance moves are fun and low impact and I get in an amazing sweat session. 


My third pregnancy is the first pregnancy I have worked out through. I even worked out the morning I went into labour. During pregnancy, my wellness routine contributed to my daily energy, positivity and simply feeling good and strong in my body as it grew life.


In postpartum, all of my work during pregnancy is serving me as I recover quickly. I don’t feel the need to nap as much as I did during postpartum previously and my body still feels strong. 


This whole journey has helped me realize even more the value of the mundane daily work. Sometimes in the thick of the everyday it can feel like what I do doesn’t matter, but all good work produces results and moves us forward.


Trust the process, stick with it!


On May 3 I will be starting a Facebook Challenge group for LETS GET UP. Everyone in the group will be following the fitness program and a Beach Body Nutrition program of their choice. I will be showing up daily with motivation, inspiration and conversation starters to keep us all having fun and moving.
