Life Update

Here is where we are at for July 2019

Summer is full and wild and free! We are spending as much time outside as we can in the water or even just in the backyard. Tyler even set up the tent for us last week so its like we are camping. We are enjoying bonfires and eating outside except we get to sleep in our own beds, thats my kind of camping.

CAMP LAPIER

I keep referencing Camp Lapier on my socials and it’s basically just my summer life with the kids, which also includes my niece and nephew. I feel very blessed to spend so much time with the kids especially in the summer. I attended Maple Grove Christian Camp for a few years in my teens. It was a stay away camp, for one week each summer and it is a highlight of my childhood. I will forever be grateful for that experience and hope my children want to go to summer camp one day too.

A BIG EVENT FOR OCTOBER - INTRODUCING HAL SOCIALS

A few weeks ago Tyler and I experienced a form of cyber bullying. After spending so much time with God I knew the only way to combat this issue was with love. Love that surpasses all understanding. Kindness that includes everyone, even the hurt people hurting others. I have had a desire to put on an event like I am planning now, for about a year and this troubling experience we walked through, seemed like the perfect motivation to take the leap of faith and put it together. If you want a chance at tickets to this event, you will want to subscribe to my newsletter list below. We are bringing an amazing Canadian blogger to Sarnia to speak and showcasing an inspiration local woman as well. I expect the event will sell out and the option for ticket sales will go out to the email subscriber list first. Get on the list below and be prepared to be set on fire with love and kindness and passion to chase your dreams while encouraging others to chase theirs.

EMILY & JT’S WEDDING

My sister Emily is getting married in September. She has not delegated a ton of tasks to us, I feel like I should be doing more. I do have some wardrobe work to do, my dress needs to be fitted and I need to find a cute outfit for Luke to wear that will kinda match the guys. I have also been doing a little research on fun activities and games for the bachelorette but I can’t share those with you guys yet because that whole adventure is a surprise. I am also on makeup duty for the girls on the day of the wedding and will be hosting all the girls that morning, as we get ready so I have been surfing Pinterest for inspiration on how to make that time extra special.

HOME RENOVATIONS

Honestly, we are minute by minute with whats going to happen with our house right now. Our plan going into the summer was that Tyler would take some time off work and do the renovation himself. He has hurt his knee recently, he can do some things but not all things and so we just take it day by day. It will get done when its meant to happen and I am also realizing there will never be a perfect timing for anything. Life is full and wild and I love it.
