Sunday Dinner

Do you do Sunday dinner? We do and it’s my current favourite family tradition. We normally eat Sunday night dinner at my husband’s parents house but last night I hosted. My dream is that one day, Sunday dinner will always be at my house and dinner may not always be fancy but there will always be enough food for whoever can come; family, friends, everyone is welcome! To me, Sunday afternoon visits and dinner is the best way to end the week. It reminds me weekly of my blessings and what is most important to me. 

I think this past Sunday was extra awesome because it finally felt like spring and we were able to spend our whole day outside and even ate dinner outside. Tyler worked hard to clean the deck and get out all the patio furniture but our driveway is always a hit for early spring hangs. It might sound funny but there is no wind in our driveway and when the sun is out in the afternoon it’s hot like a summer day. 

It doesn’t matter how fancy or organized, as long as we are all together and our belly’s are full, Sunday dinner is a success!
