Special Event Skincare Prep
I have said this before, but it doesn't matter how much makeup we apply to our skin, if we don't take care of our skin our makeup will never look as good as it could. As you prepare for your wedding, prom, big event or simply want to improve the appearance of your skin, here are the basics and some of my favourite skincare lines for your unique skin type.
The Basics
Cleanse - use in the evening to remove makeup and pollutants collected on the skin throughout the day.
Tone - use morning and evening after cleansing or showering, to balance skins PH and tighten pores.
Day Cream - use in the morning to hydrate and protect skin.
Night Cream - use in the evening to hydrate and regenerate the skin.
Eye Cream - use in the evening to specifically hydrate the delicate eye area and correct the appearance of aging.
Exfoliate - use one to two times a week to renew skin cells allowing all other products to penetrate deeper into the skin.
Mask - use one to two times a week after exfoliating to correct oil or hydration in your skin, based on your needs.
