5 Bible Study Tools

I have been studying the Bible regularly for 7 years now and starting my day with God is at the core of any positive change in my life. Reading the Bible has helped me identify the voice of my Heavenly Father above all the other voices in the world that fight for my attention. Having a relationship with God does not make everything perfect but it does give it purpose and that is something worth living for everyday. Here are my favourite Bible Study tools and resources.

YouVersion App

This app puts the entire Bible at your fingertips on your phone or mobile device. It has great features like the ability to make notes on verses and highlight your favourite scriptures. It will deliver a daily verse and quick teaching to you each day and you can also search for Bible Study plans based on topics.

First5 App

This app provides Bible Study plans that will get you thinking and conversing within the First5 community. I love these daily teachings and the community on this app. If I do not understand a teaching, reading the comments and reflections from other members, helps me look at the lesson with a different perspective.

Journal

Any journal will do but I have found that writing reflections, lessons and prayers gives them more power. When I am having a day where my faith is feeling weak, I like to read back through what I have learned, the places God has taken me and read my prayers, it makes me so aware of how much God has provided for me and fuels my faith for the journey ahead.

Joyce Meyer

Joyce Meyer Ministries has tons of resources for studying the Bible but I especially love to listen to her preach. She tells it like it is, has a very amazing personal story and is funny.

Stevn Furtick

Steven Furtick has become one of my favourite preachers to listen to because of his passion and energy, I often listen to him during my morning workouts. You are sure to get a good message from his sermons and be inspired to bless others with what you have learned.

Reading the Bible does not need to be complicated and it can change so much! I need God everyday, the renewal and refresh of the word of God before I head into the world each morning. If you check out any of these resources, let me know how you like them by sending me a message on Instagram. Please share your favourite Bible study resources in the comment below.
